Description

With the Princess 142330 Toaster you can make delicious, crispy and warm toast in an instant. This elegant toaster has two short slots so you can toast up to two slices of bread at once. Furthermore, the toaster is equipped with a defrost, stop and reheat function.

One long slot and warming rack
The extra-long size of the Princess Toaster makes sure two normal sized slices of bread fit easily in the slot. If you like more rustic bread you can fit in one slice with ease thanks to the extra wide slot. This slot is also ideal for toasting bagels and crumpets for a quick breakfast.

Eight browning settings
Choose easily between lightly toasted or very brown with the dial on the front of the Princess Toaster. Next to this, the toaster also has a defrost and reheat function. You can quickly defrost bread or reheat buns on the warming rack. Use the cancel function if the bread toasts too quickly.

Easy to store
The Princess Toaster is not only beautifully designed, but also has a convenient cord storage system so you can store the toaster easily. The removable crumb tray makes it easy to remove all crumbs so your cupboards stay clean.

Product FAQ
Yes, the bread clips automatically adapt to the thickness of the bread and centre the bread relative to the heating elements.
Remove the plug from the socket prior to cleaning or servicing and allow the appliance to fully cool. Fortunately, toasters do not require very much maintenance. You should however occasionally clean the outside of the toaster with a damp cloth and a little detergent.

Crumbs will collect at the bottom and must occasionally be removed by emptying the crumb tray or opening the crumb door and emptying the appliance by shaking it.
1) Never use any abrasive cleaners or materials, as these will damage the non-stick coating layer of the plates.
2) Never immerse the entire appliance in water.
3) Use a damp cloth to wipe the outside of the appliance.
4) You can clean the plates with a damp cloth or soft sponge: do not use metal, sharp or abrasive utensils. Make sure that the appliance is fully cooled before cleaning it.
You will get a nice, evenly browned result by smearing the sides of the bread slices that come into contact with the plates with a thin layer of butter.
The easiest way to remove crumbs from the toaster is as follows:

1) Take your toaster to a trash bin and pull out the crumb tray at the bottom of the appliance. The crumbs can be removed immediately this way.
2) Vigorously shake the toaster (upside down) back and forth over the trash to remove the crumbs left in the toaster.
The lift button can still be pulled up a little at its highest position, which will lift the toast a bit higher and make it easy to remove.
The lift button can still be pulled up a little at its highest position, which will lift the toast a bit higher and make it easy to remove.
The appliance may emit some smoke when used for the first time. This is normal and there is nothing wrong with the appliance.

If this happens after you have used the grilled sandwich maker a few times, check:
1) That there are no food particles in between the plates.
2) That there is no grease on the plates.
You can only use the grilled sandwich maker to make grilled sandwiches. This appliance is not a grill and cannot be used for grilling other dishes.
Step 1: Unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely.
Step 2: Wipe off the outside and the plates with a damp cloth.

Caution: Never use any sharp or abrasive cleaners.
Use wooden or plastic utensils (such as a spatula) to remove the sandwich from the plates.
Note: Do not use metallic, sharp or abrasive utensils as this can damage the sandwich plates and reduce the efficacy of the non-stick coating layer.
If bread becomes wedged between the bread clips, disconnect the power cord, wait for the toaster to cool off and only then remove the bread. Do not use metal objects (spoons, knives, etc.), as this may cause damage that can later lead to a short-circuit. Excessively thick, irregular-sized bread can block the lift mechanism. This prevents the thermostat from switching off, which can potentially lead to the bread burning. Do not use the toaster and do not leave it switched on without being present.
Most bread types are suitable for toasting. Older bread toasts faster than fresh bread. Frozen bread takes longer to toast and sometimes gives an irregular result. The adjustable thermostat allows you to adjust the degree of browning to your own taste and desire.
Do not use the toaster if:
1) The power cord is defective
2) The toaster has fallen, is clearly visibly damaged or defective.

Have a defective or damaged toaster repaired by an authorized professional in order to prevent accidents.
It is important to place the toaster in a stable location, away from other heat sources. It is also important to ensure that your toaster can not be splashed with water. Bread is in fact flammable, so do not use your toaster in the vicinity of flammable materials such as curtains, bookshelves, furniture, etc. Make sure there is enough space around the appliance.
For the best grilled sandwiches, preheat the appliance before use. If the appliance has been preheated, the edges of the grilled sandwich are pressed together immediately.
During cooking, the preheat light will switch on and off. This is normal and indicates that the heating elements are being switched on and off to keep the appliance at the right temperature.
